Awning Cleaning
Entrance awnings cleaned so the first thing a resident or visitor sees looks kept up.
Seattle damp shows up on an awning before it shows up anywhere else
An awning hangs over the one spot every resident, guest and delivery driver passes under. It also sits outside, in the rain, with nothing to wash it but weather. In a damp Seattle climate that means grime settling into the fabric, green creeping in along the seams and edges, and bird mess that dries where everyone can see it.
None of it looks urgent on a given day. Then a board member walks the property or a prospective tenant looks up, and the awning is the first thing that reads as neglected. Mercury Commercial Cleaning cleans awnings for HOAs, apartment buildings and commercial properties across Seattle, so the front of a building stops telling the wrong story.

The awning, the door glass and the entry walk, cleaned as one job
A clean awning over a dirty doorway just moves the eye to the problem below it. So the awning is cleaned as part of the entry, not on its own. The awning comes first, because whatever comes off it runs down onto the glass and the walk. Then the door glass and frames, then the entry walk, working from the top of the entrance to the ground.
Doing the entry as a single pass in that order means the finished result holds together: a front door that looks cared for from the street, with no streaks running down from above. Where the walk needs more than a standard clean, Mercury also does pressure washing, which is assessed site by site.
We look at what the awning is made of and how it is mounted before deciding how to clean it. If a seam is coming loose or a frame is bent, that goes to the property manager, because a damaged awning is a safety issue before it's a cosmetic one.
The entrance is how a building introduces itself
Residents judge a building at its door, and visitors decide what they think of a property before they reach the lobby. A clean awning is a quiet signal that the building is looked after, and the same crew that keeps the lobby and corridors in shape can keep the awning in step with them.
For commercial properties the same logic holds: customers decide how much to trust a business partly by how its front door looks. How often an awning needs attention depends on the property: how much tree cover hangs over it, how exposed the entrance is, and how much foot traffic comes through.
